McDonald’s but Make it Hot
Following the success of last year’s ‘hottest drop’, we’re turning up the heat once again with a new campaign and creative platform, ‘McDonald’s but Make it Hot’. The platform marks the return of the fan-favourite McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot® chicken burger and introduces a brand-new dip: Frank’s RedHot® Mayo – as we challenge fans to bring the heat to any item on the McDonald’s menu.
TV Spot
To celebrate both brands’ latest collaboration, we created a 30-second spot showcasing a McSpicy billboard engulfed in flames, revealing the spicier meal beneath. The film is backed by the sounds of Danger! High Voltage by Electric Six.
OOH & Influencer-Led Series
In addition to TV, we launched OOH activations that includes RedHot Mayo lid takeovers of McDonald’s breakfast ads, and also Flyposting featuring flame-drenched visuals and stripped-back copy.


An influencer-led social content series “But make it hot challenge” also supports the campaign, where four creators take on some blind-dipping, matching mystery menu items with Frank’s RedHot Mayo. The content, including cutdowns and teasers, will run across TikTok and Instagram throughout the campaign.
