This January, we launched “Only at McDonald’s,” a platform that celebrates the unique fan truths connecting Maccers lovers worldwide. Infused with iconic relatability and a dash of humour in all those “I’ve been there” moments, our bold campaign features 3 key 20-second films and spans TV, social, radio, press, and OOH.

The Idea

We believe in the special relationship McDonald’s has with their fans and chose to shine the light on this unique bond through a collection of distinctive moments customers enjoy, especially those that would only ever happen at McDonald’s.

Details and Execution

In a classically audacious and yet charming Maccers style, our 3 short films celebrate these legendary fan moments. From sneaking a fry from a friend’s McDonald’s meal, to effortlessly passing a gherkin between two people, and even using a lap as a makeshift table for the commuter’s dinner, these iconic moments are captured in a sharp and yet recognisable way. To enhance the experience, soothing ambient music underscores the action. In addition to key AV material, in our OOH executions we included the all-too-well-known “Rogue Dip” to maintain the playful mood.

Through those moments of magic that Maccers lovers enjoy, “Only at McDonald’s” has struck gold with the people whilst strengthening the McDonald’s brand.
